An Absolute Shocker

Slash Football and Teenage Cancer Trust gave brands the chance to electrocute YouTubers.

Slash Football hosted a very special football tournament, An Absolute Shocker, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. Slash Football chose to partner with Teenage Cancer Trust as it’s close to the heart of some of the talent involved, and were bold enough to take on the unique event of ‘shock’ football in order to raise awareness for the charity.

Brave Bison worked with creative tech production company Weir and Wong to build the Advanced Shock Football Technology™ (we hacked some electric dog collars to be used on ‘willing’ human participants) so that Brand executives from companies and clubs including Uber, The FA, Arsenal and Chelsea got the chance to electrocute the all-star YouTube teams while they attempted to play 5-a-side.

An Absolute Shocker saw some of the biggest names on YouTube taking part. Callux, Calfreezy, The Burnt Chip and JMX led team Slash Football, while YouTube sensation Manny captained the legends of ‘ParkLife’, Eltham SF FC side.

The tournament proved a huge success, raising thousands of pounds for charity and achieving just under 300k views of the event on Facebook and 170k views on YouTube.
